Prathap Industries is India's one of the most trusted manufacturers, exporters and suppliers of world class cast iron castings since 1957. The founding father of the company was a visionary entrepreneur who took on to this profession for supplying machinery at reasonable prices to those factories and mills which were on the verge of wind up due to lack of adequate machinery and infrastructure. In short, our foundation was a major respite for all sick industries mainly sugar, rice, steel and cement industry. We are also supplying our castings to the original equipment manufacturer M/s. Fives Cail-KCP (Formerly FCB KCP Ltd), Chennai. We are one of the major suppliers of pressing tools to M/s. Bharat Heavy Plates & Vessels Ltd., Visakhapatnam.

Our product range includes C.I. Rice Hullers, C.I. Rice Mill Spares, C.I.Lime Mortar Mixtures, C.I. Rotary Oil Mills, 10" Flour Mills, Sugar Mill Spares, Spares for Steel Plants, Pressing Tools besides manufacturing specialized items as per specification of the clients. We are the first SSI unit in South India to manufacture and cast single piece weighing at least 25,000  kgs. In this regard,  an in house quality testing is done by proficient quality personnel. Also, we remain vigilant about the quality of raw materials. We employ precise and accurate lab equipments like Carbon and Sulphur apparatus, Maffur Furnace, Single Pan Analytical Balance,  etc. We also have provisions for analyzing various elements present in iron and steel  and elements like Carbon, Silicon, Manganese, Chromium, Phosphorus, Sulphur, Nickel, Molybdenum, Tin and Vanadium, etc. as well as for Ferro Alloys  like Ferro Silicon, Manganese, Chrome, Phosphorus, Molybdenum and Vanadium.

Infrastructure
The infrastructure of Prathap Industries is the epicenter from where the activity of production is made to flourish in all possible directions. We have a wide and robust infrastructure with factory at Enikepadu, Vijaywada, A.P. and the head office at Vijaywada. There is a well defined coordination among the employee and the employer and solid cooperation spirit prevails between them.

Every department is responsible for specific tasks which they perform with integrity and honesty. Specially the warehouse and the R&D center, which are the pillars of the company. So systematic are our working procedure that all the channels of production are kept inter connected and well informed, for we know that even a single mistake at any level will lead to total catastrophe  for the company.

Our state-of-the-art machines, which help us in meeting all the deadlines within the committed time frame, comprise of Turning Machines, Boring Machines, Drilling Machines, Planning Machines, Feet Plano Milers, Milling Machines, Shaping Machines, Slotting Machines, Bench Grinding Tools, Welding Machines, Compressors, Hoisting Machines and Generators. Our measuring instruments are Out Side Micrometers, Inside Micrometers, Vernier Calipers, Depth Calipers, Bevel Protractors, Steel Rules, Pitch Gauge, Radius Gauge and Dial Gauge. The Melting Facility at our concern involves Cupola Furnace with capacity of 3 Tons/hour to 14 Tons/hour. We also have Ultrasonic Testing Machines and Magnetic Particle Testing Machines.
